Forestry Farm

Image
We finally had a cooler day so I packed the kids up and we went to the Forestry Farm. We had a blast. We ate lunch at the farm and had a couple of chickens coming to see what was on the menu. The kids weren't to sure about this but eventually they settled down and got on with the business of eating. I got some great shots and can't wait to scrapbook them. The kids loved the White Tigers. I had a hard time convincing them that there were other animals to see. Why can't children cooperate and allow their mother a nice picture. That's all I am asking just 1 picture where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. This Badger needed a rest after fighting with his roommate. I loved this little Prairie Dog it was almost like he was posing for the camera.

Let's talk about how therapeutic scrapbooking can be. I did this layout when I was probably the angriest I can ever remember being at my daughter. I had to walk away from her or kill her so I went to my scrap room to scrap. I decided to focus on her positive attributes and when I was done I was in tears. My journalling reads: Blaze you are an amazing girl...You are a devoted friend...You can write amazing stories...You are a gifted artist...You have a loving heart...You are a wonderful big sister...You are a beloved Granddaughter...You are a gift from God...But most importantly you are our daughter. You are loved and cherished.

Me and My Sister

These 2 are my youngest and are inseparable . Journalling reads: Kayne and Ruby-Jean. They love each other unconditionally. They fight unconditionally. They are the best of friends to the end.

Super Mom

One of the few nicer family pictures we have. This really does capture the feeling of our life. Someone is always stopping to smell the flowers, one is pouting, one is hamming it up and the other just doesn't want to be here.

My Belly

Our little Ruby-Jean loves attention and having her picture taken. I had finished putting some laundry away and she had disappeared with the basket the next thing I knew Ray was hauling her upstairs asking if I had ordered any "Dirty Laundry". I said no but I did need a "Cutie Pie" with a belly button.

Dreamland

I love this layout. It came together very easily. I love how innocent and peaceful my boys look while they are sleeping. I always wonder what they are dreaming. My journalling reads : April showers bring May flowers and tired little boys. This was one of the first nice days of spring. You boys played outside all day and while you were waiting for supper you fell asleep.

Birthday Picture

This was taken on my birthday in our back yard. I had a great day. The Rose is one of my gifts from my husband and children. There's nothing like Roses and breakfast in bed to make a Mom feel like a Queen on her birthday.

New

Well here goes my first try at this blogging thing. I celebrated a birthday yesterday now I think I'll try something new.
