Reeces Pieces Peanut Butter Pie. It was a new recipe and yes it was delicious. Not recommended for anyone on a diet.

Daddy's Home

Image
So Ray had been away in April to do some training and finally arrived home to 4 happy children and 1 relieved wife. I used one of his plane tickets to journal on but do to the waxy residue on them I had trouble finding a pen to write with. I Glimmer Misted some flowers and lace. I used some decorative scissors to cut my Grungeboard photocorner which I then covered in paper and distressed then Glimmer Misted. All in all I like the page.

Gum in her hair!!!!

Image
Ok . So Friday morning Blaze comes to me and says"Mommy can you comb the tangles out of my hair?" As you can see it wasn't tangles we were dealing with. She went to bed chewing GUM! Apparently this isn't the first time she has done this but it is the first time it ended up in her hair. Now being a Mom and a hairdresser I saw RED. In the picture it doesn't look like much but once it was cut out I had no choice but to keep cutting. Blaze's hair went from a cute bob to a short pixie. It looks very good on her but that isn't the point I was so upset Friday that I couldn't find the humor in it .Today is Sunday I am starting to giggle about it. I can't believe how mature the cut makes her look. I am thinking that some pierced ears might be in order. (this would make her day)

Freedom

Image
This page is scraplifted from a very talented lady on SIStv . I loved her page and had to make one of my own. I am thrilled with how it turned out. I used Misty Breeze Glimmer Mist to colour my lace and some of my flowers. This is Ruby-Jeans new bike that we bought this Spring and boy can she go on it. It really is freedom for her because now she can keep up w ith Blaze and the boys.

I'm Free

Image
Well my baby turned three on Friday. I celebrated this day with mixed emotions. I am so not ready to no longer have a baby in the house. I can't believe that Ruby-Jean is three. She's my Baby and has grown up so fast. I think this has something to do with having 3 older siblings. She is in fact racing thru her toddler years and heading for her teens at breakneck speed. She is my clown she makes me laugh. She lightens my worries and stresses with a hug and an "I Love You Mommy". She is spoiled by everyone in this house but that's ok. She's the baby and we love her. Happy Birthday Baby. Please stay little just a little longer ok?

These are school pictures of my Dad. the best I can guess is that they were taken in the late 50's early 60's. I think he was quite the handsome guy. I kept this layout simple because I wanted all the focus to be on the pictures and no clutter do distract from them.

Easter Bunny

Image
This is Blaze with the Easter Bunny. She waas only 5 or 6 months old in this picture. I did lots of doodling..well lots for me. I think the page turned out kind of cute.

Father's Day Card

Image
This is the card I made for Ray for Father's Day. It's fun and cute and according to the kids it looks just like his jacket.
