Get Sketchy #7

Image
Check out my friend Bree's Challenge Blog Get Sketchy Every Week there is a new card sketch and a fabulous prize to be won. I tried to create my card based on the sketch but it is aparent that I have trouble with rules/guidelines :) I really like what I created especially as I don't make many cards.

Going Nowhere Fast

A page about a day at the lake. We had a blast and the kids played on this tube for the better part of the day. I am not sure if I like this page or not but they can't all be works of art. :)

I did this LO back in May. It was a challenge during Just Cre8"s Happy Be Scrappy online crop. I used vintage lace for the flowwers and distressed the paper. I think it is one of my favorite LO's.

I took apart an old board book and used the pages like a mask with my Glimmer Mist. I the green gears are chipboard that I inked and Glossy Accented and the orange gears were stamped, embossed and hand cut. I used pop dots to pop them off the page.

Fireworks Festival

Image
We went to the Fireworks Festival last night. The kids had their faces painted. The group Scyap Inc. that was doing it did a fantastic job. The kids had fun and I got to play around with the settings on my camera trying to capture the Fireworks.

Photo Shoot

Image
I did this photo shoot for some friends of ours who were expecting their 2nd child. We had a blast. I stopped at the Dollar Store and picked up this yellow football just to help keep their little guy occupied. He fell in love with the ball and it ended up being in several shots as he didn't want to put it down.
