Sheryl Schmidt Artistry

This picture was taken on July 12 somewhere between1979-1981. It is one of the few pictures I have of my Grandfather and I. I know the month and day because the bike was my birthday present. This is just a day in the life of our family when I was a kid. There was no occasion happening but I am glad to have it as I have so few childhood pictures.

My children have various board books in many shapes and sizes that are falling apart. I decided to do a little recycling and create something fun. We had spent a nice afternoon this fall at the park and I took a lot of pictures. They tell a story by themselves so there isn't really a need for a lot of journaling.Fun to do.

I went out last night and got some great shots of the eclipse. I was actually quite surprised and delighted that my camera took as good a picture as it did. The eclipse was quite fun to watch.

We had a baby shower at our church last week and this is the gift and card that I made. I love the idea of doing a diaper cake instead of just giving a bag of diapers. It doubled as the center piece and was a hit with all the ladies at our church. The mom loved it too.
