I was looking through my finished projects and realized I hadn't posted this canvas that I made for a teacher gift at the end of the school year. I don't remember where the vintage picture is from, sorry. I began by putting a layer of gesso on the  the canvas. I glued the picture down with gel medium.I then took an off set paint spatula and smeared paint all over the canvas. While the paint was still wet I  brushed on some Perfect Pearls .When the paint and gel medium were dry I stamped a script stamp randomly over the canvas, applied the gemstone swirls,trim and stamped the verse. The verse is from Tim Holtz's Good Thoughts stamp set. The flower is made from coffee filters and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist . I added a little extra sparkle to the flower with Ranger Stickles . Spent some time today playing with Tim Holtz . The new Distress Stains that have just hit the stores are fantastic. The tag below also features stamps from Studio 490 .
