Blaze

Let's talk about how therapeutic scrapbooking can be. I did this layout when I was probably the angriest I can ever remember being at my daughter. I had to walk away from her or kill her so I went to my scrap room to scrap. I decided to focus on her positive attributes and when I was done I was in tears. My journalling reads:Blaze you are an amazing girl...You are a devoted friend...You can write amazing stories...You are a gifted artist...You have a loving heart...You are a wonderful big sister...You are a beloved Granddaughter...You are a gift from God...But most importantly you are our daughter. You are loved and cherished.

Way to go girl! Turn the negatives into positives. Scrapbooking Therapy for the Soul always works wonders for me . . . glad to see it works for you too. Honkin' layout.

Ruby's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Ruby-Jean's birthday a little early. Her "real" day is next Saturday and she will be 4.She asked for a Princess party so I tried to give her a little of that. We went shopping and picked out some balloons and napkins and party hats. I wanted to keep it pretty low key and thankfully she was thrilled with all that I let her pick out. She had her Oma and Opa here for the day but I think the highlight of her day was when her "special" friend came. We will call him W. How to Pack for a Crop

We've all been there.......It's what I like to call the "What to take with me" dilemma.  What do I take or should I take to a crop?? Everything including the kitchen sink? All my papers? All my stamps? How many pictures? What if I need something but for got to pack it? You get the picture. Sometimes we have a tendency to over pack and get nothing accomplished or we under pack and are missing too much of our stuff and can't create the way we would like to. .
