Upcoming Classes at Just Scrap It!

Message in a Pretty Bottle


Friday April 20th 6pm-12am Cost is $20.00 this includes the Late Night Crop fee. Please bring an empty clear wine bottle with the label removed. I will be showing you how to work with different types of Gel Mediums and crackle paints. We will also be playing with metals and alcohol inks. Please bring along your scrapbook or card making supplies as there will be time to work on other projects while we wait for the mediums to dry between each step. 


 

Technique Calendar Class

Saturday April 21st beginning at 10am. I am unsure when the class will be over. Please plan on it being a full day. Bring a lunch or plan on going out to grab a quick bite somewhere. The cost is $25.00. I will be showing you all the different ways to use your inks, sprays, embossing powders and stamps. All the techniques you will learn in this class you can then use on your scrapbook pages, cards and altered art pieces.


 
 If you register to take both classes there is a $5.00 discount. I am so excited to spend the weekend creating art with everyone. Please call Just Scrap It! at 955-4850 to register.

I love the picture of Kayne just enjoying the day. I knew I didn't want this layout to have a "little boy" feel to it but I didn't know what direction to go either. I definitely don't mind stepping out of my comfort zone so I tried some of Wilna's paint it mentality. I am not sure yet if I like the layout but I don't hate the results so I guess that is good. I will try painting again on future layouts as I did have fun creating this one. The chipboard letters have crackle paint,perfect pearls ink and glossy accents.
