Forestry Farm

We finally had a cooler day so I packed the kids up and we went to the Forestry Farm. We had a blast. We ate lunch at the farm and had a couple of chickens coming to see what was on the menu. The kids weren't to sure about this but eventually they settled down and got on with the business of eating. I got some great shots and can't wait to scrapbook them.



The kids loved the White Tigers. I had a hard time convincing them that there were other animals to see.


Why can't children cooperate and allow their mother a nice picture. That's all I am asking just 1 picture where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling.



This Badger needed a rest after fighting with his roommate.

I loved this little Prairie Dog it was almost like he was posing for the camera.

For some crazy reason, I really love the badger picture. Love the way you posted the wildest animals along with the real animals . . . hee . . . hee . . . hee!

I love the picture of Kayne just enjoying the day. I knew I didn't want this layout to have a "little boy" feel to it but I didn't know what direction to go either. I definitely don't mind stepping out of my comfort zone so I tried some of Wilna's paint it mentality. I am not sure yet if I like the layout but I don't hate the results so I guess that is good. I will try painting again on future layouts as I did have fun creating this one. The chipboard letters have crackle paint,perfect pearls ink and glossy accents.

It's Here, It's Finally Here.....

The Fall Issue of Canadian Scrapbooker is out!!!! It's on the shelves....run don't walk to get your copy.  I am so excited to be featured  in the Passport to Creativity!!! What an honour.I freaked to put it mildly when I opened that email. :) :)  These are the 3 LO's that I created for the issue. I stressed over my Bio and felt a little "nerdy" answering my interview questions, but when it's all said and done I am very proud of how it all looks and reads. I want to send a big SHOUT OUT to my friend Karen of KMP Photography for doing my head shots and scraproom photos too. Bird Call was created with Bo Bunny and some vintage goodies. I used my hole punch distress technique to finish it off. I wish I could Freeze Time consists of Graphic 45 and some yummy Tim Holz items. Toes is my last page.
