Freedom

This page is scraplifted from a very talented lady on SIStv. I loved her page and had to make one of my own. I am thrilled with how it turned out. I used Misty Breeze Glimmer Mist to colour my lace and some of my flowers. This is Ruby-Jeans new bike that we bought this Spring and boy can she go on it. It really is freedom for her because now she can keep up with Blaze and the boys.

I love this page - the details are wonderful - love what you did with the paper edges and the ribbon under the flowers - I will be scraplifting a few ideas off this page.

I love the picture of Kayne just enjoying the day. I knew I didn't want this layout to have a "little boy" feel to it but I didn't know what direction to go either. I definitely don't mind stepping out of my comfort zone so I tried some of Wilna's paint it mentality. I am not sure yet if I like the layout but I don't hate the results so I guess that is good. I will try painting again on future layouts as I did have fun creating this one. The chipboard letters have crackle paint,perfect pearls ink and glossy accents.

It's Here, It's Finally Here.....

The Fall Issue of Canadian Scrapbooker is out!!!! It's on the shelves....run don't walk to get your copy.  I am so excited to be featured  in the Passport to Creativity!!! What an honour.I freaked to put it mildly when I opened that email. :) :)  These are the 3 LO's that I created for the issue. I stressed over my Bio and felt a little "nerdy" answering my interview questions, but when it's all said and done I am very proud of how it all looks and reads. I want to send a big SHOUT OUT to my friend Karen of KMP Photography for doing my head shots and scraproom photos too. Bird Call was created with Bo Bunny and some vintage goodies. I used my hole punch distress technique to finish it off. I wish I could Freeze Time consists of Graphic 45 and some yummy Tim Holz items. Toes is my last page. It has Basic Grey and my all time favorite photo of 2009. Now who else was is this magazine????? How about checking out my friend Kate ...she was featured in Pas...
