8 Things you didn't know about me

I took part in the Just Cre8 online crop last weekend and I will be pasting my LO's from that weekend over the next few days. This was a promt-8 things you didn't know about me.It was a fun LO to do and I love how it turned out. It helps that a Good Friend didn't mind doing a photo shoot at 10 at night or 6:30 the next morning.....stay tuned for those pictures as they will make an apperance. Thanks Dawn!!!

I love the picture of Kayne just enjoying the day. I knew I didn't want this layout to have a "little boy" feel to it but I didn't know what direction to go either. I definitely don't mind stepping out of my comfort zone so I tried some of Wilna's paint it mentality. I am not sure yet if I like the layout but I don't hate the results so I guess that is good. I will try painting again on future layouts as I did have fun creating this one. The chipboard letters have crackle paint,perfect pearls ink and glossy accents.

It's Here, It's Finally Here.....

The Fall Issue of Canadian Scrapbooker is out!!!! It's on the shelves....run don't walk to get your copy.  I am so excited to be featured  in the Passport to Creativity!!! What an honour.I freaked to put it mildly when I opened that email. :) :)  These are the 3 LO's that I created for the issue. I stressed over my Bio and felt a little "nerdy" answering my interview questions, but when it's all said and done I am very proud of how it all looks and reads. I want to send a big SHOUT OUT to my friend Karen of KMP Photography for doing my head shots and scraproom photos too. Bird Call was created with Bo Bunny and some vintage goodies. I used my hole punch distress technique to finish it off. I wish I could Freeze Time consists of Graphic 45 and some yummy Tim Holz items. Toes is my last page. It has Basic Grey and my all time favorite photo of 2009. Now who else was is this magazine????? How about checking out my friend Kate ...she was featured in Pas...
